As an elementary teacher, outdoor education leadership centre /summer camp owner and yoga/mindfulness educator, she has focused her professional life on teaching children to love, honour and accept themselves. She shared her love of learning with students from JK to grade 12 as a classroom and mindfulness teacher for 30 years. Sherry-Lynne is the founder of MindfulMe, which focuses on sharing the benefits of mindfulness practices and social emotional learning with children, teenagers, parents and teachers internationally. Through her children’s book series, Sherry-Lynne fosters environmental awareness with the help of Marvin the marmot and all of the mindful mates who are critically endangered animals in Canada.
