Laura came to yoga because she thought it would make her stronger during a time when her body was weak. And it did… but it didn’t stop there. Over time, she realized Yoga was making her a better human.
Laura is inspired by the journey of life - particularly her love of movement, rhythm and music. She strives to share this passion in her classes, through layering the focus of breath and natural alignment onto the dance of Yoga.
She received her 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training from The Lotus Centre in London Ontario in 2010 and her 500hrs from DevaTree in 2015. Her practice and teachings have deepened through trainings with teachers such as Todd Norian (Ashaya Yoga - Touch of Grace Hands-on Adjustments Teacher Training), Sadie Nardini (Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga - Revolution Teacher Training), Brenda Dowell (DevaTree School of Yoga - Beyond the Basics; Advanced Asana and Integrative Anatomy Teacher Training) to name a few.

Come and share a practice with me at the beautiful and quaint Yoga East in London, Ontario (537 Ontario Street, at the corner of Princess Avenue) on Tuesdays from 7:15pm - 8:30pm Space is limited to 10 students so contact me personally to reserve your spot. I run sessions throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring (mostly 8 week sessions). Next session begins November 8th and ends December 13th (6 weeks)
These classes are playful and challenging, mostly Vinyasa based but I don't like to be limited to one style so this is subject to change as we “go with the flow” ; ) I like to play music, I like to laugh (especially at myself), I like to make you sweat and help inspire you to believe in yourself. I promise there will be moments of awkwardness as we play with weird shapes and challenge our limits and boundaries. Keeping our bodies and souls safe is always a priority so everyone is encouraged to listen to their bodies needs as I firmly believe there is very little room for ego in yoga. If I could summarize in one sentence why I love yoga so much it would be this: Yoga has taught me how to pick myself up after I've fallen.
So get ready to fall, get ready to fail… and watch as your magic unfolds.
