Immerse yourself in a climate of playful experiential learning!
In this comprehensive certification program, you will explore creative games and activities, breath practices, Pocket Poses, chanting, HeartRise Musical Movements, and children’s yoga flows.
Born in the jungles of Costa Rica, HeartRise® is an earth-centered system that helps children befriend their inner voice and celebrate their individuality. This Cross- Disciplinary training draws from a diversity of yoga styles and prepares you for teaching in a variety of settings, including schools. You will learn to skillfully support children of all ages, backgrounds, and learning styles. By maintaining the delicate balance between freedom and structure, the children you teach will experience deeper levels of self- acceptance and courage.
Through personal exploration and discovery of your own childhood wisdom, this training will help you to uncover new levels of wonder, joy, creativity and freedom in your life, enhancing every aspect of your teaching. This training includes an extensive training manual that will become a treasured resource to inspire you far beyond graduation. The tools, techniques, resources and confidence you gain will help you offer children and teens experiences that connect them with their innate wisdom.
This training meets the requirements for both Yoga Alliance and Canadian Yoga Alliance. Graduates from this program are eligible to become Registered Children’s Yoga Teachers (RCYT or CYT).

“I feel a deep change inside myself since the day I came home. I have felt this on other occasions but never as profoundly as I am feeling this time. The HeartRise® Training has been deeply healing, transformational and inspiring for me. And it was so much FUN!!! I thank you both deeply for this gift. I can't wait to share what I have learned and discovered with my adult students and children of yoga. Thank you Tamika and Carolyn!” Fabienne Suter, Yoga Educator
