Connecting us to the Light—40 Day Meditation Challenge

The longest day of the year has arrived! (Or the shortest if you’re in the southern hemisphere). 

Wherever you are in the world, this is your invitation—and challenge—to take a small but giant leap toward more peace, light, and expansion. 

Unlike New Year’s celebrations when the clock strikes midnight across different time zones, Solstice happens in one moment—for all of us. 

It happens at the exact same moment for every country on the planet—11:54 am EST today.

Solstice occurs in one glorious unifying moment.  

But in truth we humans are anything but unified. The barriers of separateness are everywhere (politics, economics, age, gender, race, and even division in our own homes).

If we truly loved each other, we would never harm another. 

Together we can help change all that. 

We’ve put together a simple, free, and unifying challenge that will rock your world in ways you can’t even imagine. Because Metta is that powerful. 

Solstice is a moment in time where we’re all connected by light. 

It’s an opening and opportunity to break down the barriers of separateness between us. 

What better way to do this then to meditate together. 

We’re launching a 40 day Metta meditation challenge (only 5 minutes a day) and we’d love to have you join us. Even if you’re busy this simple practice can fit into your daily life. 

Metta meditation was first taught by the Buddha as an antidote to fear and separateness (alienation, loneliness, sadness and despair). Practicing Metta can free us from suffering and help us learn to trust our own hearts and feel connected.  

Beginning on Monday June 24th, we’ll join our collective energies to meditate and generate loving kindness and compassion for ourselves and others. We’ll do this in 5 distinct stages.

Each week we’ll be sharing a live video to introduce and guide you through the steps of Metta meditation. We’ll also share personal experiences and tips to help you meditate and stay focused.
