My yoga journey began about 10 years ago as I searched for ways to help alleviate the stress and anxiety caused by a much too busy corporate life. In 2016, I decided to step off the crazy corporate ladder and try something different. I enrolled in the DevaTree School of Yoga and completed my 200-hour training to become a registered yoga instructor – 200 RYT.
Yoga allows me to open my heart and quiet my mind. It makes me stronger and more fit. It boosts my energy and my outlook and creates a happier me. Simply put, yoga makes my soul smile.
On the mat: my favourite pose is Savasana, although it did take some time for me to quiet my mind down enough to truly appreciate the beauty and benefits of this pose. Off the mat: I volunteer in my community, I run half marathons, and I love spending time with my grandson.
In my classes, I love to combine yoga flows with a dose of humour & inspiration to help nourish, strengthen, and empower our bodies, minds and souls. Come join me on the mat and let your soul smile!
