Fascia covers and connects our muscles and organs and is a communication network for the body and mind. Our fascia connects our body like the fabric of a sweater that winds through and around the entire body. When we have a scar, tension, or tightness in one part of the fabric, it pulls and impacts the rest of our body.

Healthy fascia occurs when the body tissue can communicate freely with the entire network, the emotional body is flexible and adaptable, and the tissues in the muscles are pliable.

Modern fitness and wellness practices recognize fascia as intelligent tissue that plays a major role in the health of our mind and emotions. Healing the fascia helps us handle stress and tension in our lives in a more balanced way.

The tools and techniques in this workshop will help us recognize and heal physical patterns of holding in the body, creating space to move and flow with greater ease.

We’ll target major areas of the body using yoga, therapeutic essentials, conditioning movements, ball work, stretches, and breath practices to release tension and stress in the fascia and muscles. All fitness levels welcome.
